Resy’s Response to COVID-19
As the impact of COVID-19 continues to have a truly devastating effect on the restaurant industry — from diners to bistros, taquerias, four-star destinations, bakeries, izakayas, breweries and more — Resy is focused on addressing the needs of its restaurant partners. That’s why, first and foremost, Resy has committed to providing 100% relief on all fees and billing (effective beginning March 9) now through the end of June.
And some other ways Resy is helping its restaurants through this time:
- Resy has added a module to restaurant pages on Resy.com that links to restaurants’ current revenue streams. By aggregating resources for takeout/delivery, donations, merchandise, gift cards, and more, diners have a clear and easy way to support their favorite restaurants — no matter what platforms are being used.
- Resy has also compiled map-based lists in many major markets of Resy restaurants that have shifted to takeout and delivery options, check out the Resy City Guides to Takeout and Delivery.
- Restaurants can use Resy’s platform to offer Takeout, too. Resy’s reservations ticketing feature allows restaurants to package ‘takeout meals’ for their guests to book online. This functionality gives guests another option to safely enjoy meals from restaurants, and it gives Resy’s restaurant partners another way to reach customers. How it works: – Select a pick-up date and time at a participating restaurant. – Click “Pickup/Delivery” to see available takeout options and pricing (full menus are not offered at this time). – Confirm your order and pay directly through the Resy app or Resy.com.
